Hi, I’m Al Hall — the photographer behind A D Hall Photography, based in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad introduced me to it when I was young, and that early spark turned into a lifelong passion. Whether I’m out chasing the last light of day or experimenting with film, I’m always looking for ways to capture the world’s beauty in a way that feels honest and a little bit magical.

I specialise in landscape and cityscape photography, with a particular love for shooting at dusk — that golden moment when the light softens and the world transforms. There’s something incredibly special about freezing those fleeting minutes in time.

I also have a soft spot for old-school film photography. There’s a certain charm in using vintage cameras, embracing their quirks, and waiting to see what develops. It keeps me grounded and constantly curious.
